Andrew Ton, B.A.

Andrew is a second-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology (Civilian Track). Prior to his entry into the doctoral program, he worked as a Research Coordinator at VA Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS) in Seattle under the direction and mentorship of Dr. Mark Reger and Dr. Sarah Carter for a pilot study of a peer adaptation of the Caring Contacts suicide prevention intervention. Andrew also worked as an IRB Coordinator at VAPSHCS at the Center of Limb Loss and Mobility. He earned his BA in Psychology, magna cum laude, from the University of Washington. Andrew's research focuses on the utilization of psychosocial support from peers as a means of altering the trajectory of suicide risk within military populations.
