Ms. Sasha Hickam is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology (Civilian Track). Prior to her entry into the doctoral program, she served in several capacities as a Federal Defense Consultant and Program Manager overseeing policy, strategy, and organizational transformation initiatives. During this time, she also worked briefly as a Research Associate supporting the Suicide CPR Initiative, and pursued advanced liberal arts education at Harvard University with a focus on International Relations and Psychology. She earned graduate certificates in both disciplines and neared completion of a Master’s in Psychology before embarking on her current academic journey. She holds executive certificates from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from George Mason University. Sasha’s program of research focuses on how the digital age has transformed the landscape of suicide risk prevention and
intervention.
